Lit Up! OC is a smart, amped up literary salon where emerging and published authors read from their work then participate in lively, caffeinated discussion with an appreciative audience.

Every month, we enjoy the work of three talented authors. Books are sold, new friends are made, and fans are born.

Moderated by Maddie Margarita, Lit Up!OC has showcased the work of over 275 local authors. These include NY Times and USA TODAY Bestselling authors, and recipients and/or nominees for the Pulitzer Prize, the Bram Stoker Award, and Edgar, Shamus, and Macavity Award winners.

Lit Up! is free and open to the public, but we encourage an audience to support our host – Bardot Bars & Coffee
